Create ntfs file system in Linux

 

Simple steps to create ntfs file system:

Select the device and unmount it to make ntfs file system.
Use following command to create ntfs filesystem

$ mkfs.ntfs /dev/sdb2

Here /dev/sdb2 is FileSystm name.
