Linux extract audio/mp3 from video

 

mplyaer or ffmpeg are used to extract the audio/mp3 from the given video input.

Example:

With mplayer:

mplayer -dumpaudio input-video -dumpfile output-audio.mp3

With ffmpeg:

ffmpeg -i input-video output-audio.mp3
