Execute bashrc on login – Linux


To execute .bashrc on login add following lines of code in .bash_profile:

if [ -f ~/.bashrc ]; then
source ~/.bashrc

After adding above code give executable permission to .bash_profile file with following command:

$ chmod a+x .bash_profile

Now relogin and check if your aliases are working or not.
